Colombo, September 23, 2024: The Sri Lanka-China Friendship Association (SLCFA) extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who was sworn in as the 9th Executive President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on September 23, 2024.
In a congratulatory message, the President of the SLCFA expressed high hopes for Sri Lanka’s future under President Dissanayake’s leadership. The message highlighted the association’s confidence that the newly elected President will uphold and strengthen the country’s independence, freedom, territorial integrity, democracy, human rights, rule of law, and socio-economic development.
